How these treatments work for you
'It's important to me that my customers feel comfortable and reassured.' Ann Bradley-Whittaker. So here is a break down of what each technique is and more importantly to you, how they benefit you.
Tui-Na Massage

Tui-Na is a traditional Chinese therapeutic massage technique that focuses on stimulating the body's muscles and tendons to restore balance and promote healing. It can be effectively combined with Western approaches such as dry needling and tendon rehabilitation to enhance recovery outcomes.

Tui-Na uses a variety of hands-on techniques, including muscle and tendon massage, body manipulation, and passive joint movements.

These methods aim to:

-
Improve blood circulation
-
Realign the musculoskeletal system
-
Relieve tension and pain
-
Restore normal function to joints and muscle

Conditions Tui-Na Can Help Treat:

-
Neck and back pain
-
Musculoskeletal disorders
-
Premenstrual syndrome (PMS)
-
Fatigue and insomnia
-
Headaches and migraines
-
Arthritis
-
Osteoporosis
-
Stress and anxiety
-
Digestive issues (e.g., bloating, constipation)
-
Respiratory conditions (e.g., asthma, bronchitis)
-

Tui-Na is often integrated into holistic wellness plans and is suitable for both acute and chronic conditions. When combined with other modalities, it offers a comprehensive approach to physical and emotional well-being.
Gua Sha Massage
Gua Sha is a traditional healing technique that helps release blocked Qi (vital energy), reduce pain and inflammation, and support the immune system.
Clients often feel a warm sensation and immediate relief in areas of tension or discomfort. This technique improves circulation, supports emotional release, and restores balance in the body.
Gua Sha can be safely combined with other massage modalities and applied to most areas of the body.

NMR + PNF

NeuroMuscular Reprogramming
NMR is a gentle, targeted technique that retrains movement patterns by addressing muscle imbalances at their neurological source. It helps release compensation patterns, improve alignment, and restore pain-free function—ideal for chronic pain, posture issues, and injury recovery.

Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation
PNF is an advanced stretching technique that combines gentle resistance with guided movement to improve flexibility, increase range of motion, and relieve muscular tension. Ideal for athletes, injury recovery, pain relief and mobility support.
Fire Cupping
Fire Cupping is often described as a “reverse massage.” This distinctive therapy involves warming glass cups and placing them on the skin to create suction. As the air inside the cup is heated, a vacuum forms, gently drawing the skin and underlying tissue upward. When performed correctly by a trained therapist, this technique is safe and will not burn the skin.

The suction increases blood circulation, loosens fascia (connective tissue), and is thought to activate the body’s natural healing response. Your therapist will tailor the strength of the cupping to suit your individual treatment plan.

Sports Massage

Sports massage is a specialized form of bodywork designed to enhance athletic performance and aid in recovery.

It focuses on the muscles used in a particular sport, addressing areas of tension and fatigue.
This therapeutic technique helps to improve flexibility, reduce the risk of injury, and promote overall relaxation.

Whether you're a professional athlete or a weekend warrior, sports massage can be an essential part of your training regimen.
